‘How do I move the "Home" icon to the left side where it used to be before the latest update?’ for ‘Firefox’
I recently needed to reinstall Firefox to attempt to deal with an issue. It turned out Firefox was not the cause but when the new browser opened, it did not have the Home icon on the toolbar.
I went to "Customize toolbar" and added it but now it shows up on the far right end of the toolbar. It used to be to the left of the URL area. I tried to grab it with the mouse and drag it but it won't move.
Every time I need to jump to a home page I end up going where it used to be. I realize this is small potatoes but is there any way to get it back where it used to be?
Chosen solution
Well, I could not click-hold it and put it where I wanted but I did the other suggestion and clicked "Customize Toolbar..." and I was able to drag it back there. Then I was able to drag it from there to where I wanted on the left of the URL box.
Thank you for the solution.

Hello,
You should be able to place the icon wherever you want, dragging it on the Customize Firefox tab (which opens when you click "Customize toolbar").
You mentioned the icon not moving, that sounds strange and is definitely not intended. As a workaround, try right-clicking it (on a regular page) and selecting "Remove from Toolbar", and then adding it with "Customize toolbar" again. Does it help?
