The icons for my addons are missing

The icons do not appear on the toolbar, not are they available by using the customize menu.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Thanks, both of you. While I was waiting, I just reinstalled the addons, which fixed the problem. If it recurs when I restart, I'll try your suggestions.
