Why my microphone will not work in SingSnap.com karaokie recorder?

Before i go to the recorder i use a singsnap set-up wizard. it checks to see if camera and mic. is working. 99% of the time every thing is working when i leave the Wizard. When i go to the Record page mic is dead. every thing has being checked in the permisions in Flashplayer global settings. I just don't get it. The mic works in chrome but not a clean sounding recording as i once got in FireFox. Help

Fix common audio and video issues is a good place to start. However you can also check to make sure the permission to use the mic is also set up on the page.

In about:permissions if you search for the webpage, check the status of using the microphone, is this set to always ask?
