I am not receiving emails on my phone. I have had to change my password on my laptop but don't know how to do that on my phone. It would be very helpful if you could tell me how to do it. Thank you. Nick

There are two options given "Deny" - when this is enacted the pop-up just reappears again "Allow" - the instructions indicate that if this is enacted data , including contacts, could be deleted. So what do we do?

Hi, i cant log in from my thunderbird from my outlook account. I can do it with two of my acounts but not with the third one with the adress daniel.r.76@outlook.com

Problem with Thunderbird that I use for mail and news.

I have set TB to start with a Masterpassword and store all other passwords. Since sunday I can't use TB anymore.

When I start it, it asks for the Masterpassword which I enter, then it starts and immediately blocks access to all settings because it asks for the newsreader-server password. I can not normally cancel that passwort request nor stop TB, I have to use Taskmanager to quit TB.

Starting TB with the SHIFT option allows me to start it in base mode - but it STILL asks for the newsreaderpassword and won't allow me to change anything.

How can I get access to TB again?

I just updated from TB 142.0 to 148.0.1. After the update, my Yahoo and AOL accounts display a login window and prompted to re-enter the login credentials. After I enter the email address and click 'Next' an error is displayed:

Edge: Too Many Requests

This appears to be a browser error. What is needed to fix this? I am unable to re-enable my email addresses.

When I tried to copy the link to a 'real' browser window I was able to get the verification code from the sites, but then got the error Can't reach this page at 127.0.0.1, connection refused which, of course, is the loopback address.

TB on Windows

Prior to TB 148, OAUTH worked for POP3 access to: Gmail, MS Outlook, and Yahoo.

After TB 148 upgrade: OAUTH to Yahoo fails, subsequent log-in page also fails. Both OAUTH to Gmail and OAUTH to MS Outlook still work fine.

Rolled-back/Reverted to TB 147.0.2 -- OAUTH to all works fine, as it did previously.

Note: YahooMail seems to have other problems. But I was able to confirm successful OAUTH and POP3 to YahooMail after reversion to 147.0.2.

I can't find my password. I have the encrypted password. Could you please provide me with the unencrypted one. I am locked out of a good solution for want of this item. I have made no changes to the PC or mail midway through the day it suddenly said input password, the password is correct, but I get incorrect password message. The password works using browser mode.

Hello Folks: after having the 'invisible' band across the top of each page, it was advised I reset : was fine saved all bookmarks before hand etc. Now, I am having to log into my usual apps each time: eg. the Library, the duck.ai, the Fitness app etc. Was this a result of the reset: wondering if the duckduckgo Privacy Essentials extension and the FF reset (refresh?) in now in conflict: I am not a greenhorn but definitely not an advanced techy so laylman's terms please THANK you for your help with this.

When I tried to login I see this information:

This is very strange, because I tried it on another PC and this is the same. It looks that yahoo even didn't try to check password, because this is not matter if I wrote correct password or different - I see the same information.

Please help. I have two yahoo mail account and this is the same.

Both accounts works well on another e-mail client and I can access to my account without any problem by browser. This is only thunderbird problem.

Every time I start-up Thunderbird, a series of 2 pop-ups from Yahoo open up: [ Sign in using your Yahoo account ]. I close the pop-up and a 2nd one pops-up. I close it and say 10 or 15 mins they pop back up in the same series. It's very frustrating. I can't tell if it's Yahoo or a scam cookie. I notice the URL at the top of page and it's the same one every time and every day. The same URL shows: "https://login.yahoo.com/?src=thunderbird&client_id=dj0yJmk9NUtCTWFMNVpTaVJmJmQ9WVdrOVJ6UjVTa2xJTXpRbWNHbzlNQS0tJnM9Y29uc3VtZXJzZWNyZXQmeD0yYw--&crumb=uE2cxQuNxpE&login_hint= ..." <... it goes on for a few more lines. It's long. I went to Firefox and cleared all 'cache' and 'cookies' and they still pop-up in Thunderbird. Heck, they just popped up again while writing you! When signing in to Thunderbird to set up emails on new laptop can not get new computer to accept password and there is no where to change it. I have changed iy on the old computer several times does not help
