I am currently using Firefox Desktop Version for Mac 137.0.1. I tried to use the new vertical side bar instead and even though my browser is in dark mode, the vertical side bar is in light mode. Please, see attached image.

In 2023 I lost my access to Thunderbird email ccounts when Cox.transferred email accounts to access through Yahoo. During that process I had to change passwords on about 6 email accounts several times. I was usung thru Thunderbird. At thin point I can read old emails from about 2022 - 2033 on thunderbird . Thunderbird keeps telling me to put in th password -- but the password bave been changes so much I do not know what to enter for thunderbird.

BUT I have can access the ...cox.com email thru Yahoo. However the needed gyrations drive me nuts.

Is there anyne who can help me get back to using Thnderbird?

Firefox keeps downgrading

Every now and then, Firefox downgrades itself to version 121. In order to change it back, i have to update it to 127.0, and then to 137.0.1. After doing so, a couple hours will pass before tabs stop loading, and i have to close Firefox and open it again, for another error to show saying i was using an older version, and i need to update. this sends it back to version 121. The errors i get, I've attached !! There's also a troubleshoot data thing, not sure how that works though.

I've been using Thunderbird for years to access my gmail account through my ieee alias. Sometime after 4/2/2025 my login fails with the message "Login to server imap.googlemail.com....failed". I've tried changing the imap server to "imap.gmail.com" but get similar results. For some reason, it appears that something changed on 4/3 that prevents a successful login to the gmail server from Tbird. I have both Tbird and gmail configured for OAuth2. When I try to install an officially signed add-on by dragging and dropping it into the browser, Firefox prompts that the file is corrupted. However, when I directly copy the file to the browser/extensions directory, the browser disables the add-on as untrusted. How can I properly install a signed extension in Firefox version 50.0b2? I can confirm that the extension works correctly when temporarily loaded (via temporary installation), but it fails to install after being officially signed.
