Hello,

Ever since latest update (153.0 (64 bits) everything crash. I can open Firefox, but as soon as I enter a website, regardless of what it is, it won't load.

If i try to close the app, there's always a process that keeps running. It can't close. And if I try to force it it says that access is refused.

After that I keep receiving these errors that Firefox is already open and I need to close the last process of Firefox to continue but even if I say to close, it keeps repeating until my PC finally crash.

Everything was working 100% until Firefox updated itself. No Windows update nothing.

I can't even send crash report since it does the same error.

My PC was just updated to Firefox 153 and since the app seems to freeze regularly - particularly when accessing (older) silly games such as Bubble Pet Saga - a simplistic CBC game. https://www.cbc.ca/kids/games/play/bubble-pet-saga

Been to various sites for diag info. I have uninstalled antivirus and tried it, no joy. I have done all the following to each folder - compess, repair, deleted old emails, etc. (I actually have rules that are to do this automatically). I have captured config info, uninstalled and installed fresh. Still have the problem. -- and finally restored so I still have email addresses, etc. etc. This problem has started for me with in the past 2 weeks.

1) ALSO note: I am running W11 home. Mozilla keeps calling this W10. I do not know what the difference is between Home and Pro, but I am planning to upgrade to PRO within 2 months (looking for a reasonable deal on the cost of the upgrade). 2) Wife's computer is W11 Pro, she does not have the problem.

Firefox keeps shutting down and it will open up when I tap on the icon. I have to reload it to make it work, It seems like I have to do this everytime I shut the pc.

about every 15 to 20 minutes I hear a tone from the speaker and then Firefox crashes, on some occasions another msg box briefly appears saying something about Microsoft windows but then it disappears before it can be read fully.

Home Mozilla Thunderbird (Not Responding) is all I see on the screen.

I have rebooted, reinstalled and still cannot get Thunderbird to start. I have not touched the C:/Users/.../AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird data (where I assume the problem is).

I’m using the latest stable Firefox package from the official Mozilla repository for Ubuntu, on a system with 32GB of RAM.

I’m also using Microsoft Teams for work calls, in the browser (because Linux) and I notice that Ubuntu has killed the FF process twice last week because it was using too much memory - see attached image. I’ve only had 4 or 5 Teams calls last week so this isn’t a great success rate. It seems that after half an hour or so, FF has hogged so much memory that the OS feels the need to kill it.

If this is a known issue: are there any known workarounds?

If this is not a known issue :Can I help by providing troubleshooting data? How?

To update my Intel graphics drive, I had downloaded and installed Intel support tool, which then used my default browser Firefox to scan and download the missing driver. After I was done though Firefox crashed and didn't open back up. Hello, Firefox keeps crashing numerous times everyday, I've just uninstalled it then reinstalled it and within minutes another notification it's crashed, works fine on my pc and been using it for years.

I have just re-started my problem when this system crashes again. For 3 weeks I have sent reports of sites being crashed. The has not been any changes. It happens when on web site and also when using E-mail. HELP!

I've been using Mozilla browsers since Mosaic, when I built netsys.com, delta.net, inetexpress.com and Damocles.com.

I'm trying to login to many sites which send a text message to my phone... But 80% of the time, my Firefox web browser refreshes.

I'm using android 13, 1/1/26 release on a moto G play with all background operations disabled, battery saver on...

Even if I allow Firefox to operate in the background... It doesn't matter.

Still having issues with Thunderbird on my Windows 11 laptop. I tried reinstalling the program but still locks up. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated Thanks Dave
