I miss the ease of use of the google toolbar and its features; these cannot be used with this latest version of Firefox. I was content with the previous version I was using.

Previous versions are no longer maintained for security and stability issues.

  • You are risking your private information and online security when using an unsupported version.
  • Only Firefox 8 and Firefox 3.6.24 are currently supported and updated.
  • Support for Firefox 3.6.24 is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.

Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox 5 and newer version. It is best to move on to other alternatives than to try any "hacks" to the toolbar that may or may not perform in the future. Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. Google Toolbar is not available on any other browser, even Google's own browser.
