This is normally caused by a problem with an add-on. Try following the procedure in this link to see if an add-on is causing your problem, and if so how to identify what one - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

The AVG safe search add-on has caused this problem for some people.
