Spam folder shows there are messages but when I open it nothing is there.
Spam folder says there are 5 messages. When I open it by Spam up on the right it says 7 messages but in the body it says no message found. Are there messages somewhere and how do I access because they aren't showing.

- Who is your email provider?
- Do you see any messages in the web mail interface Spam folder?
- Do you see the same behavior if you restart Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode? (See <Help | Troubleshoot Mode>.)
Your Spam folder's index might be corrupt. To fix it, right-click on the folder name in the Folders List and choose "Properties" from the context menu, then click the "Repair Folder" button. Follow this up by compacting the folder (right-click on the folder name in the Folders List and choose "Compact Folder" from the context menu.)
