How do I get FF to always open a new tab for all Links?
I am trying to use the tabs setting to always open a new window when clicking on a link, especially from search results. It seems no matter which setting I chose in "Tabs and Browsing" they Never open in a new tab, I even tried opening in a new Window but that doesn't work either. What always happens is the new site overwrites the window with its site, and some sites even make it so you cannot go back to the results of your search. As if the site replaced the left Arrow to go back with Nul or something that greys it out. I guess they don't want you to go to a different site to check out something unless you type your search in all over again.
How do I override clicking on a search result link to always go to a new tab so I can easily go back to the search results. Currently I always have to remember to right click on the link as tell it to open in a new Tab. I would expect this from Chrome as they want you to buy from their customers. But FireFox should be better for the consumer/person and not be better for some corporation. Thanks, Bill

The tab preferences are for restricting sites to only open what's allowed. It doesn't add extra targets to links the page didn't code as such. There are addons that can tamper with the sites' links to achieve this, not sure I'd give them the permission for that though, since the same can be done just by Ctrl + clicking.
But check for addons with good reviews and enough users that can verify how reliable that can be.
