i got a firefox update and lost all my password. having adding new one and r3covering my old ones

J'ai également ce problème avec la version 154. Tous mes mots de passe ont disparu, et il était même impossible d'en rajouter, par contre j'avais mes bookmarks. La version 154 de firefox pose vraiment problème. J'ai pu récupérer une version 153.04 du logiciel, et grâce à mon compte j'ai pu tout récupérer, sauf les réglages des extensions annexes dont je n'avais pas fait de sauvegarde des paramètres. Le logiciel continue de me proposer la mise à jour vers la version 154, et il impossible de désactiver les mises à jour, et en cliquant par réflexe sur l'onglet de mise à jour, j'ai eu à nouveau le problème et j'ai du tout recommencer.

Well no one deleted your 'my firefox' and updating is a choice. Of course if you have your system set to auto update then . . . . .

Regarding the passwords what have you done to see if you still have them on your Win 11 they are stored in your Profile, so first you could read up on where therein.

You can type [about:profiles] into the address bar to access them via Firefox, which by the way shows where on your computer the Profile is.

You can of course make a copy of the Profile and store that elsewhere.

And of course there are many other issue like your such query which you could search for here for more guidence.

If Firefox starts up after an update without your bookmarks and other settings, check whether your data is available in a different profile:

Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it. The About Profiles page will open. This page should list at least one profile and could list many.

The profile that Firefox is currently using will show:
This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted.

Please do not delete anything here; don't use any Remove buttons.

Do you have another profile named default or default-longnumber listed on this page? If so, you can check whether it is the one you were using recently by clicking its Launch profile in new browser button.

If it isn't what you want, simply close that new window.

If it IS what you want, click the Set as default profile button for that profile on the about:profiles page. Firefox will use it automatically at the next startup.
