Privacy compromised Instagram
Every time I browse using Firefox and then access Instagram, I start receiving ads related to the websites or searches I made in the browser. This proves that Instagram is accessing Firefox data to influence purchases or direct me to sponsored links. Please investigate because my privacy is being completely compromised and shared with Instagram.'

This does not necessarily mean Firefox is directly sharing your browsing history with Instagram. In most cases, targeted ads like this are the result of broader web tracking and advertising systems used across many websites and apps.
For example, advertisers can track activity through:

- Embedded Meta/Facebook pixels on websites
- Logged-in accounts across devices
- Ad networks and data brokers
Firefox already includes protections such as Enhanced Tracking Protection to help reduce this type of tracking, but some forms of cross-site advertising can still occur, especially if you are logged into services like Instagram or Facebook while browsing.
