amazon purchases
Why doesn't Firefox on android allow purchases of videos and books with amazon. I have to access my account through Chrome or the ms browser. This is really rubbish and is getting me close to leaving you entirely because it is such a handicap.

Hi
What happens when you try to use Firefox for Android to use that site? Is there any error message?
No just does nothing. Sends an email to my registered account that take me back to the same place.
I am sorry, but I do not know what you mean. What email is this?
Does the Amazon page open at all?
Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android?
It's an email from Amazon Prime to my registered email address containing a link to the Amazon site - that just takes me back to the same partmofmthr Amazon site which will not allow to buy a video (or a book for that matter). If I use Chrome to open the Amazon site it works. I had Privacy Badger installed but have removed it .
Essentially if I am in the Amazon website opened with Firefox and click a link to purchase a book or a video it opens that link in the Amazon app or Amazon Prime Video app which will not allow me to purchase a book or a video ..
If I turn off the option to open links in an app I can get to a point at which I am invited to make a purchase but then I can't log into my Amazon account - it won't get beyond asking for my password - if I put it in my password and click submit it just stays on that page and does nothing.
Incidentally I can't log into my amazon account on Firefox for Android whether or not I have selected the option to open links in apps
OK now solved it by turning off always open in apps ...
