I have Thunderbird 91.7.0 and after clicking on the update button my program start up button disappeared and I can't find anyway to start the program which still looks like it's installed. If I reinstall Thunderbird will I lose all my saved emails?

Reinstall will not lose your email. That said, you should always have backups.
