Hello folks,

I'm trying to synchronize two calendars on two machines Win10, with same version (78) of Thunderbird. Both machines are linked on the same local network. Calendar should be also available off-line. Any clue ?

Additionally, what is the function of the 'Synchronize' button on the top-left of the calendar screen, and how should I set it up ?

Thank's for your answers, and sorry for my bad English writing

synchronize is for synchronizing with a caldav server. Thunderbird is a client, not a server so individual installs can not synchronize with one another. Most folks use one of the free mail providers like gmail, gmx and yahoo to provide calendar services that they can synchronize across devices. There are also many commercial providers and the possibility of running your own caldav server on a network attached storage device onsite.

You are very fast, Matt. Thank you for this information. I will do like that. Is there somewhere some help to configure the 'synchronise' button, I can't find it in the Thunderbird on-line help files. Best regards

This is verx interesting. Any advise on what software I could use (free or not) ?

Thank's again for your reactivity, Matt
