Does Mozilla want users?
The latest version of or Firefox for Android provides a host of unwelcome ads, a clumsy UI that doesn't feel finished, sells my data by default, removes about:config where I used to fix your mistakes, runs slower than before and generally leaves no reason to use Firefox. This is profoundly sad. At one time Firefox was a beautiful example of what FOSS can be, later the last bastion of privacy and user customization. Now it seems that Mozilla is trying to make Firefox more like Chrome.
I understand that you need money to operate. But your current business model has driven away a user of thirteen years, who once downloaded Firefox for Android purely out of trust and faith in Mozilla. At this rate you will join Netscape as a defunct icon, and rightly so.

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
