I updated to thunderbird Version 68.5.0 and now all my old emails are gone with the account. I can't find the old profile for that account.

First try this: Exit Thunderbird. Access your profile name folder: C:\Users\<Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\<Profile name>\ folder delete the 'global-messages-db.sqlite' file. Good info here on rebuilding database: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/rebuilding-global-database Restart Thunderbird.

If it does not work: Please try the info at this link: https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/

After a Windows 10 re-install I had to re-install Thunderbird. When I go to the Help/troubleshooting and Open File, it lists all the Profile info which is present on my C drive. So why can't Thunderbird use it? I've tried the restore procedures many times but nothing seems to work. So currently I can't see any of my files. Can anyone help please?
