I install TB a couple days ago when crostini become available for Chrome OS 69. I am unable to attach any files to emails. I can see some file and dir but can't attach files or change dir.

But this is not a Thunderbird question, it is a question for the crosini team. you are using it to shoe horn something not written for chrome OS onto chrome OS. My recollections of WINE for Linux makes it a cringe worthy experience just considering it.
