Assuming you use Linux Ubuntu and old drive will no longer boot, but you cans till access the hardrive by using it as an external drive.

Thunderbird profile name folder should be in this location: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird#Linux_and_Unix Linux and Unix If you're using a third party build from Debian or Ubuntu, those builds store your profile folder here:

  • ~/.mozilla-thunderbird<Profile name>.

They are hidden files: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders#Linux
