When opening my email through Thunderbird, it seems to open, showing inbox etc, I can switch from inbox to sent etc. However, I am getting no incoming messages and cannot send messages. It would appear Thunderbird is not completely connecting to the Internet, although I am not getting this error message. The revolving circle to indicate connection to the internet is in progress just keeps going. I have tried to unload Thunderbird, so that I can reload, but am being told I can't because it is open.
