The "freeserve" e-mail service has been closed down. Mozilla may still be trying to contact me via "freeserve". I would like them to up-date their records but have not been able to do this myself.

If that new email address is needed for a Firefox Account, like for the Sync service (or any other service / mailing list provided by Mozilla that uses a Firefox Account) you'll need to create a new account with the current email address. Mozilla can't change it for users; Mozilla just doesn't have the personnel available to provide that service.

Currently it is not possible to change the email address for a Firefox Account; Mozilla is working on a feature where users will be able to either change the email address or add a secondary email address but I don't think that has been changed yet.
