I just updated Java to the latest version. The verify page says it can't verify it on my computer. I'm using Firefox ver 45.0.2. I've been thru all the help articles and none of them tell me how to Get ava to work. I'm told to be sure I have the java plugin installed but, when i search for the java plugin in the manager, I get so many choices I don't know which one to pick. Can someone help?

Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:45.0

That's the 64-bit version of Firefox 45.0. Only Flash and Silverlight are allowed to run. Java isn't allowed - all NPAPI Plugins will be gone from Firefox, probably by the end of this year.

You'll need to install the 32-bit version of Firefox 45.0 if you need Java.

If you need to use other plugins like Java or media players then you need to install the 32 bit Firefox release.
