When can i try to sign in again after failing to provide my correct password?

I set up Firefox Sync a couple months ago, possibly even a year so i couldn't really remember my password. I have a couple that i vary between and thought i'd just try them 1 by 1. Unfortunately it seems it isn't allowing me to keep trying saying maximum attempts exceeded. So i know there is an option to reset my password but that also removes all my bookmarks and tabs that i had wich i really don't want to happen. So i want to know when i can try to enter my password again.

By now i have established i can try a couple times when i wake up and when go to sleep. I have been making a list so i don't try the same one over and over again.

Is there any way i can contact someone so they can just do a 2 step authentication or something or resend a security code? anything?
