Ihave two address books, one personal, and one for work

i created a mailing list in my work address book, then deleted it today.

When i try to create another mailing list in work address book, the pop up opens, but when i press "OK" , the button depresses, but the pop up dos not close, it just stays there.

I can create a new list in my personal address book

have you tried closing Thunderbird and opening it again?

aslso re booted pc

problem unchanged

i thought of re installing thunderbird, but cannot see how to do that

no change

the list in my personal address book, i put some "work emil addreses in, and this has full functionallity. just have to remember to change the "from" from personal email to work email!
