I would like to highlight specific incoming emails. Mostly bills and bank statemnts. Something that will make them stand out in the inbox.

Hi paulski50.

You can Organize your messages with filters. As a rule you can use the senders e-mail address (or the e-mail address domain behind @) and move those messages to separate inbox folder, star them or tag them as you like.

Using the number pad you can tag them. Pressing 1 thru 5 adds a tag and a color to the message. Pressing 0 removes the tag.
