last night when i closed the system down, i had 5 spacial tabs with names, and apx 50 other tabs open, come to start the system this morning.. all gone.. nothing.. just a new firefox.. all my history.. gone... this is not good, as the 5 spacial tabs that i had where from seriten sits that need to be their,and now.. just gone.. the lot... and all the setting are correct..

Windows 10 - Pro Lenovo T490 ( Lenovo LTD installed firmware update 6/19 & 17/26 (respectively - 1st time I've EVER seen this): 1.0.0.28 & 1.0.0.85

An icon is missing from my desktop which I normally use to open FF. I have noticed issues when NOT using this icon previously - like there is a different version or ID attached - I need to get this back. Data Loss (Clippings) / Again !! - I'm not sure who is at fault. When I display Settings - I notice a HUGE difference in that there is NO General tab (attached) as there was when I reported this (similar to me) issue last 2 weeks ago (see original problem report link).

When I use Recovery: I have a file displayed: Location C:\Users\pc\Desktop\Old Firefox Data\wu6w9pz8.default-release\sessionstore-backups Last modified 6/8/2026, 8:07 PM (3rd time in this doesn't show - right after copying the filename !~)

I believe I need to use this as my production / live version & need instructions on how to recover / restore this. I have NOT YET used Windows Recovery (but I will look at it) - Microsoft Visual C++ was installed - 2 restore points as of this morning. (I may be wrong).

Hello, I've got a problem with my account after something log me off the account for no reason then I put in new password and boom nothing my all passwords are gone please these passwords are really important for me, I need them back and I will be thankful if I could get any advice how to get them back because I had something around 100 of them now I got one only one please help me out im freaking out.

Foxfire updated a couple days ago, when it did it lost all my latest saved bookmarks. When I go to uninstall that maintainese package, I am denied access to do so.

Please for the love of all things holy... Tell me how I can restore my windows from my previous PC? I'm taking waaaaaayyyyyy to long just to get my windows sessions back... Also, why on earth did you remove the delete button from the search engines in settings? I need Google gone!!!

Reiniciei o PC e, quando abri o Firefox, todos os separadores anteriores desapareceram, e não consegui restaurar a sessão anterior, nem consegui ver as janelas ou separadores anteriores no histórico. Não é a primeira vez que isto me acontece.

Podes ajudar-me a recuperar estas abas abertas?

Não percebo porque não há forma de guardar esta informação em algum lugar quando um PC crasha ou ocorre outra situação, porque se os separadores estiverem abertos há algum tempo, essa informação deve ser guardada, tal como os separadores que foram fixados, para não perder trabalho. Isto nunca me aconteceu no Chrome porque devem ter outra forma de guardar. Consigo ver no histórico os separadores que foram abertos todos os dias (hoje, ontem, há uma semana), mas muitos estavam fechados e outros mantive abertos, e não consigo aceder a esta informação porque os que estão abertos são os que realmente me importam neste momento.

Aguardo o vosso feedback e ajuda o mais rapidamente possível para ver se consigo acelerar o trabalho, pois perdi informações importantes. Obrigado, com os melhores cumprimentos!

During cleaning up by CCleaner, accidentally the Histrory of the Firefox Browser (open folders and apps) all were deleted. Is there a way to retrieve and restore the then open folders ?

I'll directly jump into - 12 years of Bookmarks and history are gone after the last update. No warning or anything. Can you help me restore? That's unbelievable.

I removed the solid-state SSD drive from my physically-broken Windows 10 HP laptop and connected it to my new Windows 11 HP laptop using an external adapter, wanting to move the contents to my new machine. But already I find that only about 3/4 of my bookmarked browsing favorite sites and document files are among the items that I can find on the old, externally-connected "D" drive (D:>USER>OWNER>FAVORITES). I tried visiting some of the bookmarked sites and hitting "bookmark this page" for each, but then none showed up on my new Windows 11 machine's firefox browser bookmarks sidebar. Perhaps they are being put elsewhere because I am opening these sites from my old drive??

I probably need to first understand if and how much that the two drives are still operating separately, so not cooperating with each other in the way I had hoped. I know next to nothing about any of these things but have used the Firefox browser and documents files for many years without too many issues.

i had two different firefox browsers yesterday. I deleted one but all my passwords are gone from the other browser. When the firefox browser got uninstalled it created a backup on my desktop called bookmarksback up. how can i move that file into this new firefox and how can I retrieve those passwords?

Today, after the last update of the software, I lost ALL my tabs (2 years of materials) and there was no way to recover them. Furthermore, I had to spend hours to retrieve at least the most important tabs I use for work.

This is not acceptable, please fix this issue and make the recovery of tabs possible and easy.
