Firefox settings let me set a home page URL, which is opened when I click on the home button. However, Firefox always opens with the Firefox Home page, and the only new-tab options are a blank page or the Firefox Home.
Previously, I could set a URL for startup and for new tabs. This 2025 tech page describes it:

All of the other browsers that I have tried allow me to set the startup URL and the new tab URL. Firefox has apparently been changed to eliminate those options. Please bring them back!

When I open my laptop yahoo is in browser. I close it and enter firefox. I have tried to remove yahoo on the laptop, It still comes back

Why are they pinned and how can I get RID of this feature. I do NOT want "PINNED" ANYTHING I want to choose how my website lineup icons are positioned MYSELF! I always use C Cleaner to clear unneeded my unneeded data once a month. It does not usually affect my Firefox shortcuts on the Firefox homepage. It was also after Firefox had updated to version 158.0 . I did this on Wednesday (14th October) and all of my pinned Firefox shortcuts have gone missing. They have not come back, and no other shortcuts are being shown after I have since visited any websites. What has happened to them? Will this be corrected? Regards John

Must I reinstall Windows-XI for this user-interface not loading anything that has been updated on Firefox 155.03Beta? I will attempt an optimization and see if that does anything. It is a questionable website and I don’t know how it ever got through to get the information of my account which is leaking my email address.
