Although I have Firefox (on Windows 11)
Settings | Permissions | Autoplay
set to block audio & video as the default for all sites, no exceptions listed,
nevertheless one site (the NY Times, but possibly others) shows videos that sometimes appear to stall the browser.
One address in particular seems to do this.
Here is a sample line:
Is there a way to prevent it from getting around the blocking?

Tested on OpenSuse Tumbleweed both native & flatpak but also on latest live ubuntu image . After some seconds , with healthy buffer , video pauses/starts with new buffer , until it drops to 480p ignoring the manually 4K setting . When setting manually again to 4K , YT throws error . Blocking av1 and switching to vp9 fixes it . Hardware capable of running av1 (amd , rdna3 , rx 7800t) , local videos or using other chromium based browsers work fine .
there is no sound when I run any videos through the browser.
I can’t watch Netflix on my tablet

I'm on the current/latest version of main updates (159.0.1)
On Twitch specifically: - Audio sometimes doesn't start playing (opening the same page in a new tab fixes it) - After audio is playing for a while it gets louder (it resets it's volume after a while or tab refresh fixes it) - When the audio gets louder it sometimes plays like a second track with an offset, so I end up hearing the same things twice with a delay (tab refresh fixes it)
I have tried: - Turning off hardware acceleration - Changing media.wmf.media-engine.enabled to 0 (was 2)
This is with a fresh install of Firefox.

I believe it started from the latest update. In a Facebook timeline, videos are not playing. It takes several clicks on play button and weird manipulations with video seeker to make videos play. I checked all security settings and permissions. My internet is 1Gbps. I do not have any plugins related to Facebook or video, and it is not happening on Chrome.

This happens with YouTube and anything else as well. Generally doesn't do it with regular Searches, it's becoming extremely annoying to me because of the audio "catching" you can hear happening here. This only happens with Firefox, I tried Edge and everything works as expected. Windows 11. Also downloaded Waterfox and the same bug replication is happening. Completely flummoxed. Nothing else is having this issue. Audio stutters noticeably whenever I'm loading most webpages. Opening and scrolling Twitter is another example.
Any ideas or things I can try?
Edit: I've tried downloading Opera as well and no audio catching, tried Edge, redownloaded Chrome (for a brief moment) to double check it, literally Firefox (and Waterfox, so a Firefox-base) is the only one having this issue. Really don't want to use any of these browsers instead.
