I have vertical tabs turned on. Say i want to watch a movie, i press F11 or fullscreen to open it fullscreen. It makes the whole page fullscreen, but the vertical tabs remain still on the left. I want that fixed so that vertical tabs are hidden when its fullscreen.

Tonight when I launched Firefox, I started getting everything opening in a new window, rather than a new tab, which is what I have indicated in settings and have always had before. Even if I drag a tab from a new window to a previous window, I cannot close the tab. All I can do is close the window.

Trying to get stuff done. It's hard when you start a task in one tab ,switch to another tab to start another task, and when I switch back to the first tab, it hadn't completed the task, it actually paused when I left it. What's the point of multiple tabs, when only one is working at a time? I expect it to continue with the task, while I go elsewhere to complete a different task.

This should be simple. Your site sends a message saying do I want to update MY TABS WILL BE RESTORED. It DOES NOT say I need to go through history and check forums and consult outside parties. I'll keep this in mind the next time a silly tedious update comes around.

Previously all my tabs would launch when I opened Firefox. Recently it has stopped doing so. Only one tab opens. All the other tabs I use frequently do not open. Why is this? How do I have all my tabs open when I open Firefox

Hi, I was a heavy user of the multi-account containers extension. Since FF now has that functionality built in I disabled the extension recently (more than a week ago). My company keeps FF up to date - currently on 153.0.3 aarch64

All tests have been performed with other extensions (ublock origin and auto-reader view) disabled.

Since the last update (last wednesday I think, 5th. Aug.) I've been unable to access the AWS or Azure portals from a container tab, though it works correctly from the 'bare' browser.

I've cleared cookies and site data for the whole browser (made no difference)

I've cleared cookies and site data for the container tab - this now allows me to sign into Azure (which is a prerequisite to signing into AWS), but AWS is still blocked with a microsoft message "We cannot sign you in, try a different user name"

If I use the bare browser, no container, I can sign into the AWS SSO portal correctly.

What can I check to help diagnose this? MacOS Tahoe 26.6.1 Firefox 153.0.3

I discovered tab grouping and find it moderately useful. There was an update, now I cannot group and tabs. They simply will not. Spent a few hours with ChatGPT trying a range of things. Al settings are right for tag grouping, but it simply does not happen.

I am unable to press new tab or even use Command T to open a new Tab. The New Tab button seems greyed out as if I've hit the limit for tabs, but I don't have too many tabs open. Not even the keyboard shortcut is working which quite surprising. I am able to create new tabs if I open a new window, so I am not completely unable to create new tabs, but i was just curious as to why this might be happening to my current window.

The plus sign to add a new window has disappeared. I search and went into Customize toolbar but there is no option to add the + sign back in. This happened previously and I was able to fix it. Now I can't. What is going on? what are you doing with firefox to make it so difficult to use. NOW I have to use chrome. I have been a loyal advocate for firefox for decades!

It seems I can no longer set a link to open in same tab. There is a Government webskite that won't let me open a link in a new tab and I can no longer find a way to stop a link being opened in a new tab

I use Firefox in Windows 11, but when I close it and reopen it, my three open tabs are gone, it is supposed to open them, as checked in settings. I see the same thing happening in the MacOs, but no answers for Windows either.

Every time I start Firefox, some of my pinned tab favicons will show an unread dot (although not consistently), even though there may have been zero changes to anything in that tab. Gmail is especially bad about this, making me think I have a new unread email when all of my emails have been read. How do I fix this? I looked in the Tab settings for Firefox and don't see anywhere I can change a setting.

I am using 102.10.0ERS When I am right click left top of the tab there is no option is seen but in 102.0.0ERS have right click they given a option what I will do that 102.10.0 ERS came right click option

Is there another way to reopen my recently closed tabs which happened yesterday. When I hit the HISTORY button, the arrow I tried to open ( 'recently closed tabs' ) was not accessible (grey). Or did I accidentally hit a wrong button without noticing it, and how can I reverse it if I did? Thanks in advance.

I used to use the Google browser and within that I had a tool where I could put what looked like a sticky note on my emails and make notes like when I received the email, when I followed through on it, etc. I hear there is a tool like that for Firefox named Tags but cannot find it in my Settings. Has anyone found this and can you tell me how to access it if you have?

It used to be really easy. I have Firefox set to open lots of tabs when starting. If I then decide I don't want some of those tabs any more I simply closed those tabs and then went to settings and there was a button to save my Homepage. Then I closed Firefox and next time I started it all my tabs, less those not required, would open. Now that doesn't seem to be possible.

How do I just get rid of the not required tabs? And, in the future, if I want to add more tabs how do I get them to open next time I start Firefox?
