I successfully imported the book marks and see multiple bookmarks folders in library. At least one of them really has the bookmarks. But when I enable show bookmarks, they are nowhere to be seen

When accessing Google Docs, I can right-click and successfully Cut and Copy from the pop-up menu, but when I attempt to right-click paste, Docs pops up the message shown in the attached image. Ctrl-V works, but clearly Google Docs understands what is being requested and simply will not perform the operation, which is very annoying. Is there any way to get Google Docs to perform the mouse-based paste?

I'm reading this> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-export#thunderbird:linux:tb148 Looks great but all of my messages sit on IMAP servers and I don´t need a backup of those. I _do_ need a backup of settings, passwords, pgp keys, to move to another workstation. It is unclear what exactly is exported.

When opening Thunderbird on Wayland with Nvidia drivers it breaks other apps. Specifically Spectacle, KDEs screenshot tool. I am here to help supply any logs or error reports to help fix this.

For some reason, 3 of 4 accounts I use no longer open on the accounts list. I cannot expand them, I cannot "Get Messages" for them, there's no reaction whatsoever, as in no message in status bar (which works fine, as confirmed with that 1/4 account that still works).

I checked for subscribed folders and all of them are. I even was able to add a new folder, which does get added via IMAP. This is, therefore, not a connectivity issue.

I also checked the Developer Console and Activity Tasks, absolutely nothing shows there.

I removed global-messages-db.sqlite, folderTree.sjon, the .msf files. I checked in Troubleshoot mode. Nothing helps.

This looks like some nasty bug and I am happy to help debugging this further, if you point me in the right direction.

Hello. I have issue with Firefox. I am often opening firefox by command: firefox --no-remote -P <profil> --new-window "<web_site>" Usualy it works. But sometimes it is opening new window and my web_site is located in second tab. First tab (which is completelly unwated) start loading after clicking on it. It is a recently closed tab. I call this tab zombie-tab. It was finished and properly closed, however it rose from the dead. I tried to set in about:config browser.sessionstore lot of parameter to absolutelly forbid to save any information. However, there is still whole history in the list, sites are restorable and sometimes it appears these zombie-tabs. Restore from crash is also deactivated. I tried before to start the firefox without --no-remote parameter, but AI recommend me to add it there. It did not help. Since it is happening occasionally, I consider it as a bug. As I store all my contacts in a CarDav sync I have no need for a "Personal Address Book". It might even be a problem because accidentily stored addresses there are not synced. The "Delete" on the context menu is grey and cannot be selected. How do I permantely remove "Personal Address Book" from the list of contacts?

I am using 140 ESR version on linux with Cloudflare's DNS over HTTPS and with DOH active for some reason resolving a domain like d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net will resolve to local host IP 127.0.0.1.

I am using firefox about:networking#dnslookuptool to test resolution of the domain d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net Both with DOH on and off the resolution remains local host. I tried another browser on the same workstation and I was able to receive a resolution of 13.225.193.203 13.225.193.133 13.225.193.64 13.225.193.58 Why is firefox ESR not able to resolve that domain? What are causes ?

There is a way to add a folder to a Thunderbird account that combines other folders. The one I want to create would be "Inbox and Sent emails combined". I did it in the past, but I can't remember how to do it anymore. Can someone help with this? I am running Thunderbird 140.8.0esr (64-bit) on Linux Mint.

Thunderbird 147.0 (64-bit) OS: Linux; Fedora 43 Settings:

• OAuth2

This situation started happening about a week ago. I created a new user and had no problem sending email from the same default account. I can also connect to smtp.gmail.com using telnet, port 465. Something is presumably corrupted. I have had this account for many, many years, so I have accumulated many filters and other data.

I get why the domain is highlighted, and it's good! But the rest of the URL can be hard to read, especially with dark themes (see screenshot, taken of this page's URL bar, using the default Dark theme). I have tried to find a dark theme with better contrast, but haven't had any success.

Is there a setting that I can change to set the font colors or contrast between them?

Hi, somehow thunderbird forced me to use OAuth for caldav and carddav. (v140 on linux) Unless I've probably missed something this approach doesn't seem to have considered that people might use more than one device. In the past I had an application password per device with my mail provider. That password covered imap, smtp, caldav and carddav. The application password I could set with a specific name at my mail provider. If the device was lost, compromised or whatever I just deleted that one application password at my mail provider, problem solved. Now a regular thunderbird setup has the application password for mail and 2 OAuth records per device under "Connected Apps" at my mail provider. But it is not possible to see anymore to which device the OAuth record belong, as there is nothing device specific coming along with these OAuth records, just an IP. With that perspective OAuth weakened my security options, as I can only guess which OAuth record I have to delete in an emergency case. Did anyone who implemented that with Thunderbird considered that people may have more than 1 device? Maybe even more than 5 devices? That OAuth approach looks unmanagable to me. Is there a way to switch OAuth off in thunderbird, until it becomes more useable in >1 device setups?

Operating system: ubuntu 24.04. Thunderbird version 148 snap. Since the latest update, whenever a reminder appears onscreen it is squashed up into a square instead of a letter-slit oblong and is difficult to get rid of. Klicking on the close button has no effect and while klicking on X temporarily removes it, it comes back in a matter of minutes.What is happening and how can I stop this?

I believe Firefox invited me to add another partition to my Firefox system I do not like it, finding it interferes with my normal operation of daily events and also transfers unasked from my primary partition making, for instance emails l seeking a reply.

I have a machine I've been using for months and haven't got around to archiving the history and tabs for some research I was doing. I realized this could be problematic if anything happened to the machine, so I decided to sign-in to my Mozilla/Firefox account I made years ago, so it would be safely sync'd.

Everything was fine at first, it showed it was syncing and whatnot, but then after several minutes, Firefox crashed. Upon relaunching, ALL of my history is gone! Neither signed-in nor signed-out shows any history at all, except the searches I've done just now trying to undo this mess. Did I really just loose months of history due to some bug or is there a way I can manually restore or see it from the mess of cache/profile files on my machine?

Some videos work perfectly fine, however for some videos audio lags behind the video. The same video file perfectly works in Chromium as a control test. Example file is MP4, inside was initially h264 video with AAC audio, for test I re-encoded video to be svt-AV1 with AAC / flac as well - no difference, audio still lags behind. Local players (mpv) and Chromium works perfectly. No plugins which can affect it - for testing disabled them all. I really try hard to like Firefox but this thing is a real bummer. Any ideas what can be causing? P.S. I tested both firefox compiled from source and binary package provided by my distro. Linux system if that matters.

Hi, I just started using Zorin 18 os and downloaded Firefox, signed in, but my bookmarks are not there. I've tried sync and that doesn't work. I've also tried the cmd prompt sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozzillateam/ppa and it says not found.
