This problem only appears when I'm on my LAN, when I connected to VPN emails are sent. I tried to reinstall TB, remove and add accounts, control the settings for servers, but nothing works. Thanks for advices.

I accidentally clicked on the x in private mode. It didn't warn me before closing the many many open tabs in private mode!!!

What the heck?!

Firefox is updated to the latest version that was offered.

I'm using an ancient" machine but that shouldn't matter. If the box is checked to warn me first, then it always should, regardless what operating system or mode I'm in.

Very disappointed. Please fix or advise a solution I might try to prevent something similar in the future.

But I don't know what in the world I could have possibly done differently.

One checkbox being checked that claims to be to receive a warning before closing multiple tabs at once should be enough.

This was the original thread <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1363425#answer-1471931>

In short, to summarize the original issue, one day after clearing my 'recent history' 100% once, gmail.com never ever became autofilled again. I can't get it to show up, no matter what.

I even refreshed firefox, still didn't help, sadly. The only thing left is to uninstall FF but that's a headache I don't want to do. and there's no guarantee that it would work.

Tried disabling all my extensions except for the most obviously fine ones like momentum. Didn't seem to help. <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1176553> This guy had the EXACT same problem I had. So I followed through these suggestions. Didn't help.

1. Does anyone know what the right keywords for this would be if I want to google others who have similar issues? Looks like I can only just hope other people have the solution. But I've googled things like firefox not suggesting history in omnibox search. Hasn't come up with anything that worked yet.

For several months I have noticed that the timestamps on my Gmail emails are 5 hours ahead of my actual time, when I use Firefox to check Gmail. These incorrect timestamps do not occur when checking Gmail, using Chrome and other browsers; so it appears to be something occurring only with Firefox.

I communicated with Gmail support staff; and they think it may be due to Firefox's anti-fingerprinting configuration settings that sandboxes the session to the point where the browser has no idea which timezone you are in. The timezone then gets sets to UTC time for everyone, rather than the timezone set on the individual computer.

The only option to get back the correct timestamp in Gmail, using Firefox, is to disable the the anti-fingerprinting value in about:config. However, this then disables other anti-fingerprinting privacy protections.

Is it possible for Mozilla to add an option to leave the timezone out of your anti-fingerprinting configuration settings, as that information is not really giving much privacy info away about anyone?

Please advise, and also let me know if there is a work-around to get my correct timestamp back in Gmail, without disabling anti-fingerprinting in about:config

Thank you for your attention to this matter and any assistance you can provide.

My Linux Mint 18 (64bit) upgraded my Thunderbird to version 91.5.0. That version is a mess. I am trying to ask a question and Mozilla wants to send replies to my primary email. Unfortunately due to the Thunderbird upgrade I can no longer pop my emails to that address nor send anything.

I have a gmail account that works but how do I change my primary email address since Mozilla keeps sending me a code to an address that Thunderbird won't let me get mail at?

All I want to do is change my Thunderbird password.

Doing a www search for that topic = every site's information I've found tells one to 1) click on drop-down TOOLS and then OPTIONS (enroute to changing the password), or 2) pull-down MENU and then click on OPTIONS (same story . . . )

Well, there's only one itty-bitty problem: There is NO "OPTIONS" option in at either location.

OK.

So where's the magic? Can only conclude that other people are seeing things I'm not permitted to see . . .

Thank you.

I recently did a google search for "Helvetica Neue" font, but didn't ultimately end up downloading it. However, somehow, i've noticed that many websites now have it set as its body font, overriding the font-family attribute set in html. It says it's coming from main-9cd4cf4f.css

ex: this page shows up as helvetica neue for me http://frostyfaustings.com/games/

Any suggestions?

Certain calendar events that have been created as a result of receiving an invitation from another party cannot be dismissed when the even notification goes off.

These particular events are part of a monthly recurring series. They have a notification 30 minutes before and an email 4 hours before.

I can click the Dismiss button for the event in the Reminder pop up but it just keeps coming back. I have to delete the the notification setting for the event on my Google calendar using the Google website. Removing the notification setting for the event using TB does nothing. The notification setting comes back after the calendar is synchronized and TB just keeps notifying for the event.

In addition the event cannot be deleted, moved (dragged and dropped), copied or cut-n-pasted to another day using TB.

FYI, I am not using the Provider for Google Calendar add-on. I just added my calendar directly as a Network Calendar using the CalDav URL provided by Google.

Firefox won't display tax statements on Caliber.com I had to use Microsoft Edge. Caliber Home Loans allows a user to print last years tax documents. When I click on the document in Firefox it blinks but does not bring up the document. When I sign in to Caliber.com using the Microsoft Edge browser and go to my account and click on the tax document they open in a new tab. I can then view and print them, which I did. I know I can always switch browsers to get my work done, but I like Firefox and wanted you to know there is a deficiency in your browser when viewing tax documents on the Caliber.com web site and the same weakness may be on other web sites if not addressed. Thanks, Jeff
