I can not receive or send emails with my thunderbird account. It keeps saying that the connection to pop.centurytel.net was reset. Can you help me get my email back please?

I am using a very old system that is running out of storage space. There is an 8.73 GB folder that I would like to empty to free up space. C:\dtemp\Profiles contains several folders that were created 10.27.21: 2qzfs15q.default, eybandys.default, f81zrqic.default-release, pctnmazu.default-release-1, and yns5cb3s.default-release.

Can I delete any of these folders?

Latest version on W10 desktop machine.

1. Setting to open message in a new window does not work. Insists on making a new tab instead.

2. When Thunderbird window is active, kills attempts to use desktop icons for other programs.

3. Cannot minimize Thunderbird via taskbar. Have to hit minimize(-) from window.

Can any of these be remedied?

Since update my emails are all in dark mode, I used the button to turn off in email read, but cant turn it off in email reply, means I cant read what the person has said because the majority of people write emails in normal black on white. how do I get it back to normal? Thanks in advance.

I am a long time outlook user. I stuck with it for so long because it nicely integrated calendar, e-mail and contacts as well as the To Do List.

The sync tool that connected my Android contacts, calendar, etc to my computer Outlook calendar, etcetera is no longer viable.

I thought Thunderbird was a useful alternative. I rebuilt my calendar and contact list in Thunderbird on the PC, but now, I don't see any way to access that data through the Android app. What am I missing?

Yesterday and today when starting Thunderbird, message at bottom of page: connected to server(inbound.att.net) Never changes to "checking for new messages" or "downloading messages" so I am unable to get mail. Close and restart does not help. Seems to be be stuck.

On a different computer with the same accounts, functions normally.

When I have Firefox and a word document open in my mini mac the Firefox application image is suddenly pushing out or sight any word document I also have open at the same time. Conversely, when I relocate the word document and seek to open it again Firefox gets pushed out. What is going on and how do I stop it?

I am not experiencing this problem when I have Safari and a word document simultaneously opened.

I just updated to the most recent Firefox version and read about the unload feature. Sound great, but when I right click on the tab the menu does not have unload as an option.

I have Firefox set to reopen the previous session whenever the browser is launched. I normally have multiple windows open; I have different tabs in different windows so as to organize them and make it easier to access a particular tab / type of content. I can mouseover on the toolbar and select a tab via preview.

Until recently, whenever Firefox relaunched my previous session, it kept the arrangement of the windows intact (from right to left in the preview). After a recent update, I assume, Firefox is now no keeps them in the same arrangement; aside from my first window, all the others now randomly (or so it seems to me) rearrange themselves whenever the browser launches.

I can reorder them by selectively closing and reopening windows, but it's getting tedious, and the arrangement only lasts for the current session. Once I shut down and restart my computer the windows are, once again, rearranged to no apparent rhyme or reason.

This is getting really frustrating.

Every time I close out of Thunderbird I lose one of my email accounts and have to reconfigure it each time. I looked through the settings and can't find out how to keep that from happening. Any input?

I've just installed the recent thunderbird app (still will need to figure out how to delete an older version from my apps folder), but most importantly i'm not able to access my existing ymail/yahoo ymail messages. When i try to get to it, i just get that spinning ring.

hi, Just discovered that when i send an image with "attach" it is shown inside the mail. Not what i was hoping for - i wanted the receiver to clic on "attach" or something like that, to see it without text. i imagine their is a setting for this.

Thunderbird has said it will save open E-mails when the program is closed. It does not. Please cause Thunderbird to save and re-open E-mails when it is restarted after having been closed or when the computer turns off during a power failure. Thank you. On the other hand, if I am wrong, and there is an action I need to take to re-open opened E-mail, please instruct me. John La Farge

I can't access an MSN.com account, but I managed to do so with two other accounts. I've already deleted it twice and tried again, and the password is correct. Can you help me?
