WIll this work with BlackBerry (RIM) phones or pads?
I want to use FireFox Sync but I have a BlackBerry Curve phone (9630). I know that the BB operating system is Research in Motion Limited aka RIM. I want to know if this software (Sync) will work with my BlackBerry device. Thank you

Mozilla currently has no plans to make mobile Firefox for the BlackBerry phones. Android 2.1+ is still the platform they are currently focusing on. Not to say they will not look at other platforms in the future.

Firefox Home is only for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch at moment. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/home/
Back in Sept 2010 they thought there may be a version for Blackberry in future but no real work on that since http://blog.mozilla.com/mobile/2010/09/28/firefox-home-looking-to-the-future/
I would like to know when this is available as that is what I have a bb 9630 and the brower on it is very slow. Would you let me know when this is available in the future?

If firefox is not interested in blackberry users, should we all change to Chrome?
Of course not! :D
With RIM up for sale now, the BlackBerry and the Playbook may not even be around for long. Look at what HP did with Palm after they acquired it.
Samsung is probably after the RIM patents to gain "ammunition" in its' battles with Apple around the globe. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Samsung killed the RIM hardware and operating system real fast, and used the email service and messaging service with their own hardware and Android. And if they opened that up for other manufacturers making Android phones and tablets, Apple could be in trouble with its' phones and tablets, as far as dominating the market.
Hi!
There's an option to use Firefox Sync in Blackberry though: BerrySync
The last thing I heard is that it works. You should find it within the Blackberry Apps World app of your phone.
Let us know how it goes.
