Hello!!

I am a linux user (puppy linux). I would like to report some strange problem with firefox since version 8. Firefox does not recognize flash. It does not show flash content. the libflashplayer.so is situated in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. Is this wrong? Is there a new place where the file should be located? regards mar

Okey here is the solution for those who has the same problem:

Go to Firefox folder (/usr/lib/firefox) and look for dependentlibs.list. Open the list and copy all the files are listed there from the /usr/lib/firefox to /usr/lib/. Than flash will work Cheers :)

Your More system details list shows the flash plugin (Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102), so Flash should be working.

You have the Flash Block extension, so make sure that its isn't blocking the Flash

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
