why does the yahoo page appear when I type the name of website in?
I used to be able to type a name of a store etc on top and the website would come up. Now a yahoo search page appears.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I put it in safe mode and disabled everything and I still get the .... yahoo page.

I figured out the problem. The Browse by Name add-on had been disabled and I added it back.
