I am running the Firefox 117.0 browser on my MacBook Pro that is running macOS 13.5.1.

This problem has just started, possibly when I recently updated to Firefox 117.0.

When I click on a link in an email or another document my Firefox home page opens. I have to go back to the link and click it a second time to get the desired webpage to open.

This is...well...annoying; and it wastes time.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Could be about this longstanding bug on Mac when you open an external link when Firefox is not running.

This should be fixed in the latest Nightly (Bug 1850828). It would be super helpful if you could install it and test to confirm that it works.
