Hi I hope someone can help me. Today I informed by Thunderbird to update the email. I have now received an Error message. Platform version '79.0' is not compatible with minVersion > = 80.0 maxVersion < = 80.0

Help, I have no idea what any of this means and I am now not able to open my email account and looks like I have lost Important folders. Does anyone have a solution? Any help would be appreciated Thanks Deb

Which version of Thunderbird do you currently have? Do you have a recent backup of your Thunderbird profile or PC? Is this an IMAP or POP account?

Hi Stans I tried to send you message but you may not have received it. Seems that I might have had to install an update from Firefox first that didn't ask, and that is why my email account become corrupt and dropped out. I have had to get onto my ISP to help me sort out a few things, and download Thunderbird again but meaning I have lost all folders containing some important information also. In future I will not be saving such items in the email folders and move them elsewhere. I really hope no one else has this same problem.
