Currently if a user selects to turn Desktop Mode on, it is a switch that turns it on across the whole browser. It stays on for each new tab or window that is opened in Firefox.
What I am proposing is an individual Desktop Mode switch for each tab/window, so that only one tab or window is affected. Any new windows or tabs that are opened will revert to the default Desktop Mode setting (user changeable).
Does that make sense?
I only need YouTube in Desktop Mode on Firefox. The rest of my sites are fine in Mobile mode.

Never had this problem until recently. Firefox, keeps breaking saved tabs. Tabs that another browser finds and restores without a problem.

Nothing I've tried changes this behavior: resetting Firefox does not remove this recommended site, using "forget about this site" does not change it, deleting it from the recommended addresses does not change it. The site in question is a blog that hasn't posted in years from which I read one article, I have no idea how it became permanently affixed to my Firefox profile's autofill. If I log in on a different computer, same behavior.
