High GPU Usage in Firefox When Playing Danmaku on bilibili.com (2019 MacBook Pro)

On my 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro equipped with dual GPUs, enabling danmaku (on-screen comments) while playing videos on bilibili.com causes a sudden spike in GPU usage, leading to significant heating. The issue disappears when danmaku is disabled.

Additional notes: 1. This problem does not occur in Safari or Chrome. 2. "Use recommended performance settings" is already enabled in Firefox. 3. Reinstalling Firefox did not resolve the issue.

What can I do to fix this?
