Sync data back from server onto new installation

I reinstalled my PC and when I reinstalled FireFox, I entered in my password, acct, and recover key. Told FF to use the server data. FF never downloaded my bookmarks. How do I get my bookmarks from the server"?

How long did you let the Sync process run?

Was any other Sync data recovered?

Does this only happen with the bookmarks or with other data as well?

Did you get to retrieve other data that was synced to the Sync server to see if that works?

Note the Firefox sync isn't meant to be used this way, so success is not guaranteed and it is always better to backup your personal profile data locally.
