firefox 18.0 can't open a web page

Firefox 18.0.1 cannot load any web page. I tried many different pages and I verified I was connected to the internet and nothing happenned. Firefox just keep "connecting" but nothing happens. When I use safari, I could connect almost instantly. I did uninstall V 18.0.1 and reinstall V17.0.1 and it works just fine.

I use window 7 the info below is from V17 I'm using right now
