Firefox doesn't open http sites properly....only https (including YouTube, Hotmail, Facebook)

Normal http pages won't open properly. I have to switch over to https version of the page before I can see the page. Ideas?

Example: http://www.youtube.com just gives me black rectangle where video should be--no play controls. If I switch to https version, it works fine.

Sorry no direct answer. I have a firefox 4 version that does work on my XP.

Note Firefox 4 is now outdated, unsupported and not secure. Other than for development purposes you should be using Firefox 3.6 or Firefox 5. Try upgrading.
