organize bookmarks does not work

I hahe all my bookmarks regularly displaying in the Bookmarks menu and submenu, but when I go into the Organize Bookmarks function they are not there and I can't edit them.

Thank you, it was the places.* files. I made Firefox rebuild them and it solved it. Thank you
