Get Google off my account. Use DuckDuckGo instead.

go to Settings → Search and change the Default Search Engine from Google to DuckDuckGo.

You can also remove Google from the search shortcuts on that same page if you don’t want it showing up anymore. After that, Firefox will use DuckDuckGo whenever you search from the address bar.

You can use/install from a wide variety of search engines besides using one of the default list of search engine options the language locale of Firefox you install comes with.
