Will I be able to successfully download the complete Thunderbird Update if I 'donate'?

I suspect Micro$oft Windows 10 - End of Support is obfuscating Enrolling in Extended Security Updates and preventing Thunderbird from sending eMail.

Need more info. Are you trying to install TB and getting errors? If so, list them and provide screenshots.

Do you mean the Extended Support Release version?

Sorry Ed, I've been busy... eventually managed to get Extended Security Updates for my Win 10 but that hasn't solved the Thunderbird sending (SMTP) problem for ~20 days now! ; so I investigated Windows logs and found the Thunderbird omni.ja file had been edited June 12th. I also found a Mozilla Maintenance Service Error on that morning..? I've also managed to Update the Thunderbird to 152.0 since yet the problem remains persists ?!! - go well, Peter.

Is the problem that you cannot send messages? That problem is usually solved in account settings. If you share your SMTP settings, someone may be able to help.

If that is the problem, then donations, Windows 10, “complete” Thunderbird, etc. are not relevant.

Donations are not required to use Thunderbird.

Thanx Ric, the Mail Server settings are correct (I can receive POP) and the ISP support people are working on problem which are also affecting my WiFi (I'm on satellite because I have NO mobile signal here).
