Thank You. I uninstalled the windows update and it worked fine. I then deleted the cookies and temp files (I have Firefox set to do that every time I shut down but strange how it didn't do it with this). I then reinstalled the windows update (2026-02 Security Update (KB5077181) (26200.7840)).
It then worked fine. I never had to adjust Firefox before after an update and once your cross 65 the amount of scams are insane all day every day. That is why I wanted to make sure I didn't just click on a link to (fix it).
Maybe PC Matic had a problem with it or something, but I was able to use it after the update this time and continue to log into with OTP as I have Google set up. Thank You for your quick reply and getting my windows 11 laptop (they scared me into buying a new one after the end of windows 10 support) sigh...
Thank You. John

Hi,
Sorry to hear that. Here are some standard troubleshooting steps that may resolve the issue:
- Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield
icon in the left part of the address bar.
- If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
- If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache.
- If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
- If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
Does any of the above help? Looking forward to your update on how it goes!
