Hello,

To import saved passwords into a new Firefox profile, either import them via a CSV file in the Logins menu or to copy the logins.json and key4.db files directly from the old profile folder to the new one.

Copying Files

  1. Close Firefox completely.
  2. Open your old profile folder (type about:support in the address bar, click "Open Folder" next to "Profile Directory").
  3. Locate and copy the files named logins.json and key4.db (or key3.db in very old versions).
  4. Open your new profile folder (via about:profiles or about:support).
  5. Paste the files into the new profile folder, replacing any existing files.
  6. Restart Firefox.

Importing via CSV (If you have a CSV file)

  1. Click the menu button (\(=\)) and select Logins and Passwords (or go to about:logins).
  2. Click the 3-dot menu icon in the top right and select Import from a File
  3. Select your previously exported .csv file.Click Done.
