toolbar favourites

My favourites link (blue star) has disappeared from the toolbar. I can find the favourites link by searching the computer but I don't know how to get it back on the toolbar.

To turn the bookmarks bar on, right click on the Firefox menu button (the three lines in the top-right of the screen) and under "Bookmarks Toolbar" select "Always Show".
