Firefox will not open in android

When I try to open firefox on my android phone, it just closes and gives me an error message which I have attached a screen shot of.

I do not know if this is related but this happened after I scanned a qr code and tried to open it.

I have un-installed and reinstalled the app and turned my phone off then on again after reinstalling but this did not help.

Pls can you help?

Hello Firefox is crashing after you scanned a QR code, possibly due to corrupted data. Since reinstalling didn’t fix it, try clearing the app's cache and data: go to Settings > Apps > Firefox > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data. Also, ensure both your Android system and Firefox app are up-to-date, which may resolve any compatibility problems.
