I've been hoping it would get better over the years but it's been a very long time and things never got better so I'm wondering why is the "new"(I think it's been close to 7 years now) addon is so restrictive? I can't live without tab grouping and it's impossible to do the way I like with this new addon system and none of the many alternative are as good so it's been keeping me away from firefox since the change. Is there a reason it's kept that way? I'd really like to come back to firefox because I'm sick of chrome and the smaller browsers have many compatibility issues because website ignore them but as long as the addon system remain as-is, I just can't.
